17th Century Recreation of Plymouth Village and the Mayflower II, Massachusetts

This is a great site for anyone wanting to get a feel for how the early European settlers in North America lived. They have recreated a village similar to what the Plymouth Colony would have looked like. They also have living history participants on site to talk about how people would have lived in the colony. We visited here in 2015.

When you leave this site, you can take a drive to see the Mayflower replica the Mayflower II. We had a stroller with us on this trip. So we didn’t tour the ship this time. But they had it open to tour. Plymouth Rock was a short walk away from the Mayflower site.
