This is a small site, but it has pioneer cabins, a museum and a locomotive engine on site. They host pioneer days at this park occasionally and have a working sugar press and kettle for processing sugar cane. There is camping available at this park, and there is near-by access to the river for fossil hunters.
The museum was not open the day we visited. So you may want to call ahead, if you want to visit the museum.
